Recommend a grant be made from your DAF to GSNorCal. DAFs are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals.

Required Minimum Distributions toggle arrow

RMDs are the minimum amount people of a certain age are required to withdraw from certain retirement accounts such as an IRA, SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, or retirement plan account. When you give all or a portion of your RMD to a charitable organization, it’s called a “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD). For many people, RMDs are an excellent and convenient way to earn tax benefits by contributing to your charity of choice. Check with your tax professional for more details.
