Support Girl Scouts for years to come by joining as a lifetime member. Your one-time membership fee ensures ALL Girl Scouts can unapologetically be themselves. Plus, you’ll be signing up for a lifetime of watching them discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges.
When you sign up as a lifetime member, $25 of your contribution helps fund membership dues for a Girl Scout in an underserved community in your area.
Any individual who accepts the principles and beliefs of the Girl Scout Movement and is at least 18 years old become a lifetime member.
A Girl Scout lifetime membership is a one-time purchase and costs $400. Alums under 30 or volunteers with ten or more years of service can purchase a lifetime membership for $200. Your lifetime membership donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Graduating Ambassadors
12th grade Girl Scout Ambassadors can be renewed by their caregiver in myGS. They will be given the option to purchase an adult annual membership or a Young Alum Lifetime Membership. Additional details about Young Alum Lifetime Memberships are sent to graduating seniors in the spring.

Already a Lifetime Member?
Login to your myGS account to ensure any volunteer roles you might hold are renewed. Lifetime members do not need to renew their membership. However, they are asked to renew their volunteer roles annually.
Are you a troop leader AND a lifetime member? Once you renew your role, you can:
- Renew girl and adult members in your troop
- Renew any adult roles
- Update your troop meeting information
- Check that fingerprinting has been completed for yourself and other adults. Contact info@gsnorcal.org with questions about renewing your background check.
