Financial Aid

We’re committed to making Girl Scouts accessible to all.

Girl Scouts of Northern California welcomes youth and volunteer members in any financial situation. We make funds available to cover membership, events and workshops, background checks, and camp. To apply for financial aid, see detailed how-to instructions on our gsHelpCenter.

Financial aid is available for annual membership dues for both youth and adults. Adults may also apply for aid for volunteer background check fees. See our Member FAQs for current fee information.

Uniforms

Youth can request uniform aid, which includes a voucher to our retail shops to purchase a sash, vest or tunic, Girl Scout membership pin, insignia tab, council ID patch set, American flag patch and troop numbers.

Any youth who is a registered Girl Scout living in one of the 19 counties that GSNorCal serves is eligible to receive need-based financial aid for:
