Girl Scouts of Northern California’s first Giving Circle Chapter is a network of alums and friends who share a passion for making Girl Scouts accessible to girls from low-income communities in Santa Clara County. By pooling membership donations, the Circle awards grants to programs and projects that build girls of courage, confidence, and character.
The Giving Circle meets four times a year, plus an informal celebration, where members connect with one another, receive council updates, learn about Girl Scout programming, volunteer, and vote on awarding grants. Together, their collective generosity is making a powerful difference in the lives of girls across Santa Clara County and beyond.
We are excited to kick off our 10th fundraising year! Since awarding our very first grants in 2017, we’ve invested $401,696 in Girl Scout programs—and that impact is possible because of passionate donors like you.
This year, we’ve set a bold goal: to raise $100,000, bringing our total grants to half a million dollars. Back in 2017, when we awarded our first $20,700, reaching $500,000 felt like a distant dream. But thanks to our members’ generosity and commitment, that milestone is now within reach.
Together, we can make this landmark year one to remember—and open even more doors for girls as their needs continue to grow, guiding them to develop courage, confidence, and character.
