Hey there, future media stars! Are you all about capturing moments, sharing stories, gaining hands on experience, and sharpening your media skills? Well, get ready because the Girl Scouts of Northern California is launching an epic Media Squad just for you!
This isn't just any program; it's your golden ticket to dive into the thrilling universe of marketing and communications, armed with nothing but your voice, vision, and a passion for the Girl Scouts. Whether you're a Junior, Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador, if you've got that Girl Scout spirit and a zest to express, we're calling YOU to join the adventure.

Be the voice that inspires, and amplify Girl Scout stories. Join a team where your courage, confidence, and character shine!
APPLY NOWAs a member of the Media Squad, you will have the opportunity to:
- Become a GSNorCal influencer! Our Media Squad will create content, write articles, and shoot photos/videos for the official Girl Scouts of Northern California social media accounts.
- Attend special council and community events.
- Learn about public speaking, business etiquette, video production and photography.
- Make new friends and have fun!
What does it take to join?
- Must be a registered Girl Scout for the upcoming membership year.
- Must be a Junior, Cadette, Senior or Ambassador
- Have permission from a parent/guardian to participate and submit a signed media release.
- Participate in content planning virtual meetings.
- Must be flexible to be called upon for major Girl Scout events.
- Camera Confidence: Embrace the limelight and be comfortable sharing your sparkle on camera. Your confidence will inspire others!
- Must adhere to content creation and social media guidelines.

- Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month, 4-5pm
