Girl Scouts of Northern California Highlights Leadership, Outdoor Investment, and Community Impact in 2025 Impact Report
ALAMEDA, CA — March 3, 2026 — Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNorCal) has released its 2025 Impact Report, showcasing another year of strong outcomes for girls and gender-expansive youth across the region.
In FY2025, GSNorCal served 45,900 girls, adults, and volunteers across 19 counties, delivering programs that build courage, confidence, and character.
2025 Impact Report at a Glance:
Girl Scouts earned a total of 52,038 badges, including 10,764 in outdoor skills, 19,353 in life skills, 12,731 in STEM, and 9,190 in entrepreneurship.
101 Girl Scouts earned the prestigious Gold Award, leading community-based projects with lasting impact and achieving a completion rate of over 20%, significantly higher than the national average.
During the cookie season, 14,045 Girl Scouts sold 3 million packages of cookies, generating $3.3 million in troop proceeds to support troop activities, service projects, and leadership experiences.
The council continued key organizational momentum, including the return of Golden Gate Bridging in April 2026 after a five-year hiatus and ongoing investment in outdoor properties such as Skylark Ranch.
