There are two different types of troops:
Traditional Troop: In a traditional troop, one or more troop leaders share the responsibilities of leading meetings and chaperoning outings. Additional volunteers within the troop families provide support during money-earning activities, chaperoning field trips, managing finances, or other roles depending on the troop’s activities.
Co-Op Troop: Many hands make light work! In a co-op troop, all families work together to share responsibilities, including leading meetings and chaperoning outings according to interests and skill set. Each troop will need a Troop Admin to coordinate the calendar and communications, but in a co-op troop all adult volunteers lead troop meetings on a rotational basis.
