Fueling future Girl Scout experiences.
Every fall, Girl Scouts have the opportunity to fund amazing experiences by taking part in the Fall Take Action Program. Girl Scouts reach out to family and friends to take orders for chocolates, tasty nuts, and magazine subscriptions. Orders can be placed in-person or online through each girls’ personalized online storefront. Items arrive before Thanksgiving and make great holiday gifts.
Through this program, entrepreneurs learn financial literacy and develop five leadership skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. They also learn about philanthropy by supporting the program mascot which is an endangered species.
The Fall Take Action Program is designed for easy participation and troops get a head start on funding their activities for the year with one of the highest troop proceeds offered in the nation at 20% of troop earnings.
