When you make an investment in Girl Scouts with your gift of time or financial support, it has a far-reaching impact. Your commitment and generosity make an impact on girls in our community daily. Because of you, we have re-opened camps, increased investments in camp and program center properties, and focused on volunteer and financial support for more girls across our 19 counties. Your support shows that Girl Scouts matters—thank you!
We could not do our work without your support. Thank you for your continued investment and energy as we journey towards building a council where more girls and families believe Girl Scouts is for them, and girls are empowered leaders who make the world a better place for all.
Girl Scout Annual Report
In the midst of all of the information you may have read recently
regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19), we hope our 2019 Annual Report will be a bright spot of good
news in your day. We are proud of the work Girl Scouts of Northern
California did in 2019 and know that we cannot do this work for girls
without our generous supporters.
Thank you for your continued support and energy—your investment helps ensure that every girl discovers her power, and can build skills and confidence to make her community and the world a better place.
We hope you enjoy the feature stories in this year’s report—Olivia’s Gold Award project focused on maintaining local wildlife preserves; donors who are making a lasting impact on Girl Scout programs through the Santa Clara County Giving Circle; and the release of 42 new Space Science badges. A year of progress and innovation, be sure to check out the year in review section of the report for highlights.
Campaign for Girls Final Report
In 2011, we launched our largest-ever campaign to raise $20 million for Girl Scouts of Northern California. Thanks to the generosity and vision for the future of supporters like you, we achieved our goal! When a girl succeeds, we all succeed—and you made it happen.
The Campaign for Girls funds a variety of essential Girl Scouts programs, such as Innovative Programs & Outreach, the Camp Property Reserve Fund, and Camp Improvement. Because of the success of Campaign for Girls, more girls will develop a strong sense of self, demonstrate positive values, and take action in their communities.
We are proud to share this report and all that we accomplished together!
