From exploring the Pacific Coast, to camping in the redwoods, or seeking adventure from a high ropes course, sea kayaking, or archery, Girl Scouts of Northern California (GSNorCal) properties are an affordable gateway to connect with the outdoors. Whether you are a troop, school, family, nonprofit or church group, GSNorCal properties are a great choice for your next trip, outing, event, program, training or outdoor retreat. Girl Scouts of Northern California holds a portfolio of seven residential camps and seven program centers in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
Who can rent GSNorCal properties: Girl Scout members in and out of GSNorCal council, and non-profit groups.
Girl Scouts of the USA and our council, Girl Scouts of Northern California, value diversity and inclusiveness; our staff and volunteers are representative of the diverse communities that we serve. Girl Scouts does not discriminate on any basis, including age, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
To qualify as a GSNorCal group and receive GSNorCal rental rates, the group must be comprised of at least 60% current or lifetime GSNorCal members.
RENTAL RATE INCREASES—2019
In an effort to help more girls feel comfortable getting outdoors, the council has made significant improvements to our camp properties over the past two years. As we have added yurts and cabins for more enclosed sleeping accommodations, renovated bathrooms and cooking shelters at various sites, we have also been adjusting the rental prices to have more consistency across our properties. Groups should now be paying a similar amount for a tent unit or a cabin unit or a building no matter which property they are using. As we face ever increasing costs to maintain our properties, we make strategic investments for planned improvements and react to unplanned challenges as a part of our obligation to GSNorCal camps and properties as an important part of our Girl Scout legacy.
