Calling all Girl Scouts 6th grade and older (and adults, too—we're
always looking for trip leaders)! You're invited to our Girl Scout Backpacking Interest Group (BIG) Info
Night on Wednesday, September 18 at 7 PM at the Sports Basement
in Sunnyvale. Come learn everything you need to have a
blast backpacking in the California wilderness —gear, safety, cooking
outdoors, and more! BIG even has equipment to loan: backpacks, cooking
gear, and shelters!
Can't make it to our info
night? Attend one of our BIG Beginner Trainings and learn about
becoming a member! No experience needed—attendees will be trained in
backpacking basics, such as gear, safety, and outdoor cooking. New
members must attend a training in order to go on a trip with BIG. No
gear? No problem—BIG even has equipment to loan: backpacks, cooking
gear, and shelters!
