CEO Marina Park
Looking for opportunities to inspire youth and develop a new generation of female leaders, Marina Park joined Girl Scouts of Northern California as CEO in November of 2007. During her tenure, Marina has provided strategic vision for the vibrant Girl Scout team, delivering services to 44,000 girls and 29,000 adult members across 19 counties – from Santa Clara County to the Oregon border and from Chico to the Pacific Ocean.
Marina attended law school at the University of Michigan and her career spans from community organizer and VISTA volunteer to Managing Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP (The nation’s first woman-led major law firm). As managing partner, she established a nationally-recognized diversity program that earned top rankings from Working Mother magazine and other national publications. This path provided her with the critical experience and unique vision required to lead Northern California’s council-wide strategy for sustained growth, diversity and inclusion, programming, volunteer recruitment and financial responsibility.
In 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, the San Francisco Business Times recognized Marina with the Most Influential Women In Business Award.
