GSNorCal offers multiple avenues to get started with robotics. If you
are new to robotics we recommend the following:
- Tinker with Lego® Mindstorm NXT kits with your troop and see
if it sparks your interest. Reserve your kits online!
- Attend an introduction to robotics workshop hosted by teams
- Be a spectator at a local Bay Area FLL
tournament or VEX IQ competition
Current teams participate in FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition
of Science and Technology) and VEX robotics competitions. Our teams
have earned multiple achievements, including awards, press coverage
and gone on to championships!
