Daughters of Farm Workers

One of our longest-running programs, Daughters of Farm Workers is a leadership and skill building program for girls from marginalized farmworker communities in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

Children in farmworker communities live in extreme poverty and deeply challenging conditions. Daughters of Farm Workers engages girls and their families in high-quality learning experiences with a focus on literacy, technology, science, and leadership. Every one of our activities impact girls in ways that enhance their academic, social, and personal development. Our greatest hope is that the positive momentum each girl experiences in our program will carry forward into her personal and academic life, inspiring greater curiosity and learning, putting her on a path to success, and helping her reach her full potential.
